Coordinator – Special Projects and Fundraising Activities

Reporting to the Director of Development – Annual Gifts and Planned Giving, the Coordinator – Special Projects and Fundraising Activities will be responsible for organizing and coordinating events, fundraising activities and special projects for the Old Brewery Mission.


  • Coordinate, organize, participate in and follow-up with the working and volunteer committees under his/her supervision
  • In collaboration with the Development team, participate in the setting of objectives for fundraising events and activities
  • Oversee the logistic and administrative aspects (billing and receivables) of events under his/her responsibility
  • Compile, analyze and record information related to events under his/her responsibility
  • Prepare schedules, timelines, reports, and correspondence related to projects under his/her responsibility
  • Develop and coordinate communications tools and correspondences related to projects under his/her responsibility
  • Develop sponsorship and visibility plans for each project and identify sponsors
  • Negotiate and draft agreements with goods and services suppliers and make the required purchases
  • Analyze the profitability of activities and develop strategies to improve profits
  • Other duties related to the position

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, an asset


  • University degree in a relevant field


  • Temporary position replacement of a maternity leave)
    Full-time (40 hours weekly)
  • Location: Old Montreal, Quebec (Place d’Armes metro station)
