What is a planned gift?
A planned gift is a donation resulting from financial, tax or estate planning; it can be immediate or deferred.
There are different types of planned giving, each of which offer different fiscal advantages for you or your estate:
- Charitable Bequests
- Gifts of Life Insurance
- Gifts of Real Estate
- Charitable Annuities
- Charitable Remainder Trusts
- Endowment Funds
- Gifts of Listed Securities (eligible shares and other securities)
The Old Brewery Mission has partnered with the Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP) and the CAGP Foundation for a second consecutive year for their 2022-2023 Will Power campaign, the biggest campaign in CAGP’s history.
This exciting initiative aims to turn ordinary Canadians into extraordinary philanthropists by making gifts in Wills the social norm.
The Willpower.ca website offers resources on how to make a gift in Will and access to charities, including the Old Brewery Mission.
Whatever the amount considered, your planned gift is important to the Old Brewery Mission!
