Why prevent homelessness?
Every day, people find themselves in precarious situations. A rent increase, a dispute with a landlord, health issues or social isolation can make a person’s life more fragile, sometimes leading to the loss of their home. Our prevention services step in before that happens. Through attentive listening, personalized support, and concrete solutions, we help stabilize vulnerable situations.

One of the cases that left the strongest impression on me was that of a young father from Belgium who had been living here for 10 years on a work permit. After a difficult separation, he fell into depression, lost his job, and everything started to unravel. We were able to help him secure a rent supplement for a 4 ½ apartment where he could live with his two daughters. It was his first real fall – and for me, one of my first true victories.
