How can we help people experiencing homelessness during extreme-cold weather?

During periods of extreme cold, people experiencing homelessness are the first to suffer. Here's how you can help:

• Give money, a metro ticket or a cup of coffee directly to someone on the street. Ask them what they could use.
• Keep your eyes open. If you see a person who's unconscious, call 911 immediately.
• Donate warm clothes and winter boots to the Old Brewery Mission. Find out what we need.
• Make a monetary donation.
